VICOM:

Virtual Immersive Communication (VICOM) is an italian FIRB project, funded by the MIUR, just started and three years long. The project partenership is formed by several Italian universities under the CNIT consortium, by two national research centers (CNR), by the Italian larger network operator Telecom Italia and by the "Istituto Superiore delle Comunicazioni e delle Tecnologie dell'Informazione". Such partnership outcomes both an horizontal integration fundable on the modalities of facing with the issues and a vertical integration in the dealt topics.
